The Roar of Heaven

“Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed” Revelation 5:5

Why do lions roar? Lions roar to establish their territory. Their roar puts intruders to flight. They are protective of their family and territory. The roar of a lion is powerful. I was reading an article on BBC that stated, “the lion has the loudest roar of all the big cats. It’s so loud it can reach 114 decibels (at a distance of around one metre) and can be heard from as far away as five miles.” Also, a lion’s vision at night is six times better then a human’s eyesight. They can also hear their prey from a mile away. They have sensitive hearing.

Lions are my favorite animal; because as believers we can learn a lot from lions. In Proverbs 28:1 it reads, “The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.” In this time, we are not ones who should retreat or run to hide; but rise up in the boldness of the Lord. “Don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward! You need the strength of endurance to reveal the poetry of God’s will and then you receive the promise in full. For soon and very soon, ‘The One is appearing will come without delay!’ And he also says, ‘My righteous ones will live from faith. But if fear holds them back, my soul is not content with them!’ But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life!” ( Hebrews 10:35-39, TPT). This is a time to press in to God, rise up in faith, boldly declare the kingdom, and walk out the exploits He has for us to do on the earth. “The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits” (Daniel 11:32, NKJV). He is with us beloved even in the seeming chaos going on in this hour. He has not forsaken His beloved children. We can come up higher, get His vision, and hear what He is saying. The Lord gives us vision to even see in the darkness and hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying in this time. Then we can rise up in the boldness of the Lord and roar-boldly speaking, declaring, and praying what He is saying. God is calling people out of darkness into His marvelous light. The Lion of the tribe of Judah has triumphed!

Jesus reigns over every principality, power, and demon. “He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all- our sins, our stained soul- he deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! Everything we ever were in Adam has been placed onto His cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation. Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph!” (Colossians 2:14-15, TPT). The Lion of the tribe of Judah has triumphed! He is reigning and we as His beloved are ruling and reigning partnered with Him. His blood paid the highest price! “Your blood was the price paid to redeem us. You purchased us to bring us to God out of every tribe, language, people group, and nation. You have chosen us to serve our God and formed us into a kingdom of priests who reign on the earth” (Revelation 5:9-10, TPT). “He chose us to be his very own, joining us to Himself even before He laid the foundation of the universe! Because of His great love, He ordained us, so that we would be seen as holy in His eyes with an unstained innocence” (Ephesians 1:4, TPT) We are adopted in the family of God not orphans; but accepted in the beloved. Sons and daughters of the Most High God. We are seated with Jesus in heavenly places  (Ephesians 2:4-6). We carry His signet ring and walk in the authority of Jesus, partnered with Him to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth. “He alone is the leader and source of everything needed in the church. God has put everything beneath the authority of Jesus Christ and has given Him the highest rank above all others And now we, His church, are His body on the earth and that which fills him who is being filled by it,” (Ephesians 2:22-23, TPT).

The Lord has an army that is vast arising in these times! One of my leaders actually preached a sermon where he used the scripture in Joel 2 that talked about this! God is raising up sons and daughters in this time to advance, to roar, to take territory. For the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is roaring! He roars over every situation, circumstance, and nation. “Adonai reigns, let the peoples tremble. He is enthroned upon the cheruvim-let the earth shake! Adonai is great in Zion and He is exalted above all the peoples” (Psalms 99:1-2). This is not a time to give into fear; but to come up higher and press into Jesus to get His vision and hear what He is saying.

“Blow the shofar in Zion! Sound an alarm on My holy mountain! Let all living in the land tremble-for the day of Adonai is coming- surely it is near! A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, as blackness spreads over the mountains. A great and mighty people- from antiquity there was never anything like it, nor after it ever again from generation to generation. A fire devours before them and behind them blazes up…they gallop like war horses. Like the clatter of chariots, they leap on top of mountains, like the crackling flame of fire devouring stubble, like a mighty horde in battle array…They run like mighty men. They  climb a wall like men of war. They each march in line, never deviating from their ways…Before them land quakes, heaven trembles, sun and moon become dark, withdraw their brightness. Adonai utters His voice before His army. For His camp is very vast- for mighty is it that carries out His word. For great is the day of Adonai- very terrifying! Who can endure it?” (Joel 2:1-11).

“Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare for war. Stir up the mighty men. Let the warriors advance and attack. Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning knives into spears. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’… “Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come tread, for the winepress is full- the vats overflow- for their wickedness is great! Multitudes, in the valley of decision! For the day of Adonai is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon become dark, the stars withdraw their brightness. Adonai will roar from Zion and give His voice from Jerusalem. Heaven and earth will shudder, but Adonai will be a refuge for His people…It will be in that day, the mountains will drip sweet wine, the hills will flow with milk, and all the wadis of Judah will flow with water. A spring will flow out of the House of Adonai and water the valley of Shittim” (Joel 3:9-10,13-18).

Adonai is roaring from Zion! The harvest is ripe even in the desert and dry places rivers are going to start to flow in the nations of the earth. Wells of life are springing up! How does this come about? Through coming up higher into Jesus and releasing the rivers of heaven from the throne room of God every place our feet set. Walking in step with the Holy Spirit we come up higher to see what He sees. Our first call is to be a minister unto the Lord, to be a priest before Him, to be one who sits at His feet and from that place acts. We must press into the heart of the Father and not be swayed by what is going on around us. In His presence is fullness of joy. He brings peace. I’m saying this even as a challenge to myself to in this time of so many things going on to humble myself to sit at His feet and turn to Him with all my heart. I do not want to get sucked back into religion or striving; but want to be broken before the Lord and real before others. I want to know the heights and depths of His love and walk in the deeper realms of the Spirit, roaring triumphantly as His bold, warrior daughter. I know everything comes back to sitting at His feet though and being first a minister unto the Lord.

In Joel chapter 2 the book continues on to talk about turning to God with everything through humbling ones self  before Him. Joel 2:12 says, “turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping and lamenting.” Verse 13 then reflects on the character of God stating “He is gracious, compassionate, slow to anger, and abundant in mercy, and relenting about the calamity due.” Humbling oneself before the Lord is a very powerful thing. We as a body need to come up higher and arise. God is pouring out His Spirit and going to bring about a mighty harvest; but in order to be apart of it. I believe, we need to be going after Him with our whole hearts and staying humble before Him. Joel goes on to read in verses 15-16, “Blow the shofar in Zion! Sanctify a fast; proclaim an assembly. Gather the people; sanctify the congregation…let the bridegroom come out from his bedroom and the bride from her chamber.” It calls on the ministers of Adonai to cry out on behalf of God’s people. Then shortly after this Joel moves into the Lord pouring our His Spirit on all flesh!  “So it will be afterward, I will pour out My Ruach on all flesh: your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions…I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth-blood, fire and pillars of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and awesome day of Adonai comes Then all who call on Adonai’s name will escape” (Joel 3:1-5, TLV). I believe whole heartedly this is a time where the Lord is pouring out His spirit on all flesh, every tribe, every nation, and every tongue.

The Lion of the tribe of Judah roars over the nations! He roars over every circumstance in triumph! We as His children get to roar right alongside Him and release the kingdom of heaven to the earth. Fear has no place. We must come up higher through humbling ourselves to sit at His feet. He is so worthy of our lives. I want to close with this passage from Revelation 5:5-14, “And one of the elders said to me, ‘Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.’ And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.  And he went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who was seated on the throne.  And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, ‘Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.’ Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, ‘Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!’ And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, ‘To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!’

The Lion of the tribe of Judah triumphs. He is worthy of our lives. He is worthy of all our praise. He roars in victory. Fear Has to go. Sickness and disease has to go. Unbelief has to go. He is the King above all Kings.

“Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war.  His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses.  From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress.  On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords” (Revelation 19:11-16, NLT).

This is the God we serve. My prayer for you is that you will continue to be set ablaze by the fiery love of Jesus. I pray that you will continue to go from glory to glory and strength to strength as you are partnered with Jesus. May you know the heights and depths of His love and His eyes that blaze like fire. May He set you ablaze so that nothing of you is left. Love each of you so much! Sending love! This is also my pray for myself as well. I want to be set ablaze with the fire and glory of Jesus and walk in the deeper realms of the Spirit to release His kingdom on this earth in this hour. I know this has to come through humbling myself to sit at His feet and seeking Him out fully with my whole heart.

Blessings Beloved ❤118573313_3625032967508508_2937319563437056555_n
